Tears of love
🌹 Tears of Love – Episode 6
Maryam held the silver key tightly in her palm, her mind spinning with questions.
> “Where are we going?” she asked softly.
Yusuf gave her a calm smile.
> “Somewhere your brother used to escape to when things got too heavy. He called it his second world.”
They boarded a Keke Napep and rode in silence through the dusty streets of Zaria, heading toward the outskirts. Eventually, they stopped in front of an old, quiet house—hidden behind mango trees and silence.
Yusuf led her to a small wooden door at the back of the house.
> “This is what the key is for,” he said.
Maryam unlocked it.
Inside, the scent of old paper and memories greeted her.
It was a private writing room, filled with journals, books, and a dusty laptop still sitting on the desk—untouched.
On the wall, pinned carefully, was a photo of Maryam and Hassan—taken when she was only ten.
> “He built this for me?” she whispered, overwhelmed.
Yusuf nodded.
> “He believed in you, even when no one else did. He said your stories could change lives.”
Maryam felt her knees weaken as tears filled her eyes.
> “It’s time,” Yusuf added.
“You have a voice. Use it.”
She sat at the desk. Opened the old laptop. Her fingers hovered above the keys.
Then she began to type.
For the first time in years… she felt like she was coming alive.
