Her hands shook with joy.

She ran outside, barefoot, and called Yusuf.

> “We did it!” she shouted.

“The book is getting published!”

Yusuf laughed on the phone.

> “I told you… you were born for this.”

But then he grew quiet.

> “I need to tell you something,” he said.

“I’ve been offered a scholarship… abroad.”
